Returning for its 32nd year on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 February 2027, the iconic Western Australian event will offer even more opportunities to take part, including 300 additional places in the 3.6km Solo Swim and 25 additional places in the 2 Person Team Swim.
No Lanes. No Limits. celebrates the freedom, courage and personal achievement of open-water swimming and encourages every swimmer to set their own challenge.
“Unlike a pool, the ocean has no lane ropes, no fixed boundaries – just open water, a goal and a community of swimmers sharing the experience,” Busselton Jetty Swim President Di Bruce said.
“Whether it’s your first open-water swim, sharing the experience with family or friends, or taking on the 3.6km journey around the Jetty, there is a challenge to suit every swimmer.”
The Busselton Jetty Swim is more than a swim – it’s an inclusive community weekend with brings swimmers and spectators together. With swim distances ranging from 220m to 3.6km, the event caters for a range of ages and abilities, while free and affordable experiences on shore include a family concert, beach games, activities and activations for swimmers and spectators.
The Busselton Jetty Swim is proud to have maintained the strong community spirit that has been at the heart of the event since its beginnings. The event is made possible by the collective contribution of volunteers, community groups, sponsors, partners and event professionals.
The online ballot will open from 1 to 7 October 2026, with swimmers able to nominate for either the 3.6km Solo Swim or the One Mile Swim. Successful entrants will be announced on 12 October 2026.
General entries for all other events will also open on 12 October 2026.
