2026 Solo Swim

Southwest local and Paris Olympian, Kyle Lee, claimed overall victory in 38:28.4 – just shy of his record. Second across the line was Robert Bonsall in 40.39.4, with Tristan Van Waas securing third place in 43:04.8.

In the women’s field, Bianca Monaco delivered a standout performance as the fastest female and 5th overall, finishing in 43:13.3.  Emma Warburton placed second in 46:07.0, closely followed by Amie Holwill in 46:27.8.

2026 One Mile Swim to Shore

Melina Dimitriadou-Pearce claimed overall honours as the fastest female, with an impressive time of 20:36.4, while Taj Webster led the men’s field, finishing in 21:34.0.

2026 Team Swim

Saturday’s team events saw Quadzilla (Pamoana Pirikahu and Archie O’Beirne) take the 2-person team title.  

In the four-person category, Too Cool for the Pool (Natasha Angelidis, Jett Walker, Tama Jenkins and Chris Purcell) delivered a standout performance to secure the win.

Record Breaker Prizes

Male

In 2024, Kyle Lee broke the male swimming record by setting a new time of 0:38:06 for the Open Male 3.6km Solo Swim. This record has been progressively broken by mere seconds each time.

Female

In 2020, Jamie Bowler achieved an impressive performance as the female record holder. She broke her own race record, setting a new time of 0:42:48, and earned a cash prize for her remarkable efforts.

2027

There are two individual prizes of $2,000 each available for the first male and female athletes to break the existing race records. These prizes are as follows:

  • $2,000 for the fastest male who breaks the current male 3.6km Solo Swim record
  • $2,000 for the fastest female who breaks the existing female 3.6km Solo Swim record
