Di is a long‑time Busselton local with deep experience across the not‑for‑profit sector, community leadership, event management and volunteer advocacy. For many years Di has supported charitable organisations, community development projects and major events throughout Western Australia.
She has held senior roles in the disability sector with Special Olympics WA, Fishability and Riding for the Disabled – Carine Group, where she led programs, supported volunteers, strengthened governance and worked closely with families and participants to build more inclusive communities.
Di spent seven years as Event Coordinator for the Busselton Jetty Swim, and her love for the event — and its volunteers — has kept her involved ever since. Even after finishing the contract role, she continued contributing in a voluntary capacity to help the event thrive.
Today, Di is President of Busselton Allsports Inc., working with volunteers, sponsors, community groups, government and tourism partners to deliver a world‑class experience for participants and meaningful benefits for the Southwest.
Community service has always been part of Di’s life. She has volunteered with Apex Australia and supported countless charitable, sporting and community initiatives over many years.
When she’s not working with community groups, Di enjoys hosting friends and family, getting out walking or cycling, and making the most of everything the Southwest has to offer.
