Busselton Jetty Swimmers will be able to support Swim Vietnam again in 2025,

For the second year in a row, we’re coordinating a swimming cap collection for Swim Vietnam – a charity created to provide free swimming lessons for Vietnamese children and prevent  drownings throughout the Asian country.

It’s currently estimated around 16 people drown every day in Vietnam.

Jetty Swim participants are encouraged to donate their used swimming caps by placing them in one of the collection bins during event weekend. The caps will then be gifted to Swim Vietnam. and will help their students, particularly the girls with long hair, while they learn to swim.. The bins will be located at at the check-in tent, in .the finish area or at the Swim Vietnam marquee in the amphitheatre.

Given that the Busselton Jetty Swim is all about fostering community and encouraging and inspiring people of all ages and abilities to swim, supporting Swim Vietnam extends the reach of that vision.
