Salt Tree to bring ocean inspired tunes to Busselton Jetty Swim Concert
Australian indie-folk duo Salt Tree will headline our 2026 Sunset Concert.
Hailing from Margaret River, Salt Tree’s music is inspired by their love for the ocean, forest, and mountains. Following the release of their self-produced debut EP Out of the Water in 2022, they have built a devoted following, while their unique chemistry, soaring harmonies, and playful on-stage banter have quickly made them one of Australia’s most exciting live acts.
More recently, they returned from European and Australian tours, which included sold-out headline shows and festival performances.
The evening’s entertainment will also include the finals of Busselton’s annual Battle of the Bands, an initiative of the City of Busselton Youth Services team, showcasing emerging local talent.
President of the volunteer organising committee, Kat Rafferty, said the concert offers a special opportunity for swimmers and the wider community to come together.
“The concert is a wonderful way for participants, supporters, and the wider community to celebrate our event,” Kat said.
“Like our swimmers, Salt Tree are ocean lovers, and their music is the perfect soundtrack for warm summer evenings while the Battle of the Bands final gives young local musicians the chance to shine on a big stage.”
Kat added that while the Jetty Swim is primarily about inspiring people of all ages and abilities to swim, the Sunset Concert and other free activities allow the event to give back to the community.
“We have a full weekend of family-friendly activities planned, giving everyone a chance to connect, join the fun, and enjoy everything Busselton has to offer.”
The FREE concert will be held on the Busselton Foreshore on on Saturday, 7 February. Battle of the Bands will start at 5.30pm with Salt Tree taking to the stage at 7pm.
